Welcome
My name is Rebecca, and I am an experienced and accredited CBT psychotherapist, CBT supervisor and trainee EMDR practitioner.
I have over 13 years of experience supporting people aged 16 and over to improve their mental health and well-being, and I have a special interest in trauma and PTSD.
I offer individual therapy and supervision services online, and tailored well-being workshops for corporate groups online, or in person, across my local area of the East Midlands.
I would be honoured to work alongside you to achieve your goals and improve your quality of life.
I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation for us to explore what would best suit your needs.
Specialist trauma-informed therapy for you
If you have experienced trauma, depression or anxiety you may notice that you are living with the after-effects for a long time, past the point you may expect to feel better. You may feel constantly overwhelmed, or disconnected from others and the world around you, or feel stuck in patterns which you cannot seem to change. You may have even tried different things to help, which may seem to make you feel a little better initially, but that feeling never lasts?
This is normal - you are not doing anything wrong, or "going mad". Your brain and body are stuck in survival mode and doing their best to protect you. However, this can mean that your body feels on edge, your brain feels unable to cope, and it is difficult to move forwards. The important thing to know, is that this can be changed.
You can feel like yourself again.
Trauma-informed therapy can help your brain and your body to feel safe and allow you to move forwards whilst gaining more balance in your life. Working with a therapist at your own pace , you can build up trust and begin to feel safe, seen and supported and more confident to begin to work through whatever you are experiencing.
I support people with PTSD, Complex PTSD, childhood trauma, military trauma, medical or accident related trauma, interpersonal trauma, including domestic abuse and sexual assault, low self-esteem, anxiety and chronic stress.
Whether you are experiencing flashbacks, nightmares, panic attacks, depression, avoidance due to fear or anxiety, we work together at your pace to understand what you are going through, and find the pathway that allows you to find yourself again.

Therapy Services
I offer individual therapy sessions for High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for a range of mental health concerns. I also offer tailored wellbeing workshops for corporate groups.

CBT
CBT is the most well-researched and evidence based therapy for depression, general anxiety, panic, phobias, health anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, BDD and PTSD.
We will work together to understand the unhelpful patterns in thoughts, feelings and behaviour and empower you to develop new skills to break the cycle, now, and in the future.

EMDR
EMDR is a powerful treatment for anyone who is feeling distressed by a past event but may find it difficult to speak in depth about.
We will work together to identify the target event you wish to process, and use eye movements and other stimulation methods to allow your brain to use it's natural processing power to work through and heal from any distress.

Wellbeing Workshops
Wellbeing Workshops are for any organisation, big or small, and can allow your employees to enjoy a short, engaging introduction into practical ways of managing stress, preventing burnout and improving wellbeing, both in their personal and professional life.
These can be run online, or in person, within the area of the East Midlands. Get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Supervision Services
I offer online individual or group supervision to trainee and qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapists to suit your needs.

Individual Supervision
I offer 30 or 60 minute sessions of individual supervision for trainee and qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapists.
